Transition to Secondary 1
This programme centers on the concept of managing change on the
student as he/she enters a new school environment as a secondary 1 student. In
order to manage those changes, the student must first accept that change is an
inevitable part of life and that these changes are necessary as a continuous
process of development in order to become a better thinking student and adult.
This programme will build up the
necessary awareness on the kinds of changes that the student will face as
he/she enters Secondary 1, the necessary know -how on how to manage them and
the importance of having the correct attitude in order to face the challenges
of Secondary 1 life.
At the end of this programme, students
will be able to:

the areas of change that they will be facing in secondary school life

Understand the importance of managing such changes
· Know
how to manage these changes
